J. Z. Shah Arts and H.P. Desai Commerce College, Amroli is a grant-in –aid college managed by Jivan Jyot Trust, affiliated to Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat and has been Accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council , Bangalore with “B” Grade  with a CGPA of 2.27.

The college is one of the leading educational institutions in Surat city offering general courses i.e. B.Com, M.Com, B.A.(Gujarati) and B.A.(Economics) with a student strength of  2300 .

The teaching-learning process is a blend of interactive method, experiential learning, computer assisted learning and lecture method. Good citizenship, community orientation, social obligations, values and discipline, patriotism and devotion are encouraged through social-service learning and extension activities.
